The World Bank is a unique institution owned by 185 member countries whose mission is to reduce global poverty and improve living standards. It serves as a vital source of financial and technical assistance to developing countries around the world. The World Bank had an abundance of information regarding climate change on its current site. But previously, there was never a focus on the end-user experience. The World Bank engaged Phase2 Technology to launch a pilot website that would demonstrate their ability to deploy a site organized around a particular topic. Phase2 aggregated blog, news, and other content from the current site which was then cataloged and displayed on the new site; and we provided tools for data visualization, support for mobile devices, and capability to upload photo galleries and videos.
