With an audience that includes governors, mayors, legislators, local council members, program directors, agency heads, CIOs, policy advisers and other senior governmental officials, Governing magazine needed a cutting-edge web platform complete with flexibility and ability to easily monetize content.
To satisfy the comprehensive web publishing platform needs of Governing, Phase2 implemented a scalable technical architecture, which includes OpenPublish: our own compilation of aggregated, custom-developed, and integrated third-party applications based on the Drupal open source content management system. This solution allowed Governing to gain a stable platform for managing and growing its website and to enable integration with more advanced tools and features.
