Danielle Sheffler

Community Manager

As our Community Manager, Danielle is responsible for the communities around our products, which include OpenPublic, OpenPublish, Open Atrium, Managing News, and Tattler, as well as the Drupal modules we maintain.  She is also building training around our products as well as creating more documentation around our products and modules.  Danielle is always looking out for those in the community who want to contribute code and documentation or who just want to give feedback.

Before joining Phase2, Danielle worked as both a business analyst and a Java developer on a Medicare enrollment system for the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) and was a project manager for several high-traffic Drupal sites.  Working on these high-traffic sites gave Danielle the opportunity to learn the ins and outs of Drupal, and to train clients on how to manage and improve their sites. Danielle also has a background in Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and is a Certified Usability Analyst and has created several training programs for organizations on how to improve their SEO, how to incorporate usability processes into their designs and website analysis, and how to properly conduct usability testing.

Danielle attended Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI), where she received a BS in Management and a BS in Electronic Media, Art, and Communication, as well as an MS in Information Technology.

Introducing the New Product Community Site

posted on 15 Mar 12

Some of you may have seen Frank's post earlier today about distributions now being on drupal.org. The announcements about contributions to the community don't stop there. We are very proud to announce a brand new wiki-style product community site! Not only did we consolidate our OpenPublic community site, OpenPublic documentation site, and OpenPublish documentation site into one, we also added more training materials and information for your reference. Our new product community site provides documentation, training materials, and information on how to get involved in the communities around these distributions.
